Richa did her M.Phil. on Simone de Beauvoir’s Philosophy. The dissertation was titled as : Webs of Identity: A Relationship between Self and Others in Simone de Beauvoir’s Philosophy. Her PhD was on Feminist Phenomenology. Its titled as: Dialogues in Silence: A Study of Mourning, Shame and Vulnerability in India.
Her theoretical leanings goes for Feminist Philosophy, Existentialism, ethics and social and political philosophy. She has numerous peer reviewed publications under her name. She has presented her work and given talks in many international and national conferences. She has worked on few international reserach projects on gender disparity.
Richa Shukla is an Assistant Professor at OP Jindal Global Business School, Sonipat, Haryana. She received her PhD in Philosophy from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. She has written several internationally published articles in JICPR Springer, and EPW. Before JGBS she has worked at Delhi University as an Assistant Professor. She has also worked as a Research Associate and Coordinator on an International Project with Brown University, USA. Currently, she is working on her book, Gender and Violence in Indian Sphere.
