Dr Krishan K Pandey is a Doctorate in Statistics, PG in Statistics and Management. 14 years ago, he started his career as a teacher and consultant, worked for reputed firms and prestigious universities in India and currently working as Professor in JGBS,O.P. Jindal University. His research interest spans from pure statistics including Sample Survey, Small Area Estimation, Statistical Modeling, Data Mining to applied research related to LCA, Renewable Energy Modeling etc. He has more than 30 papers in international and national journals of repute like Applied Energy, Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, Energy Policy, Energy Economics (Elsevier), Journal of Risk Finance (Emerald) to his credit and has participated in several national and international conferences. He has authored 2 books one on SAE Technique other on handoff management. He has guided 12 Ph.D. scholars from across the industry IBM, Wipro, GAIL, NMDC, PNGRB etc. in different areas of his specialization. He has worked as Editor in Chief, for UPES Management Review- A bi annual International Journal of Core Sector (ISSN 2250 – 0723). He is also acting as an editorial board member and reviewer for various reputed journals having a high impact factor like Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews,Applied Energy, Bioresource Technology (Elsevier),Environmental Technology (Taylor and Francis),International Journal of Logistics Management (Emerald) etc. He organized many international and national conferences as a convener and co convener for imparting and sharing the research fundamentals at various platforms. Dr. Pandey, received many awards and cash prizes for his meaningful contribution and dedication towards research and development, which includes an outstanding reviewer award, best paper awards, Exemplary work award, Most Devoted Teacher Award, Young Statistician Award, Exemplary Research Award etc.
