Prof (Dr.) Harsh Vardhan is former   Professor  & Director of Amity Business School (ABS) & Amity Institute of Liberal Arts (AILA), Amity University, Lucknow. He has around 39 years of corporate, business development, consultancy, teaching & research experience.

He has been Professor of Finance with Amity University & Associate Professor with IMI, NIIT University and other established Business schools. He has been visiting faculty to leading B-schools for wide range of courses including MDI, Shiv Nadar University, FMS; University of Delhi ,FORE School of Management and IMS. He has taught variety of courses from Finance & Decision Sciences area in particular- Financial Management, SAPM, Financial Derivatives ,Financial Risk Management,  Market Research, QT,OR and Business Analytics. He has conducted number of MDP & FDPs for variety of customers for Business Research Methods by SPSS and uses E-Views for Financial Econometrics.     

He has worked with both private sector as well as with the British Government. He was Senior Trade Promotion Adviser to the British High Commission, New Delhi and held an advisory position on a wide range of sectors for trade policy, strategic alliances, business research & investments. He represented overseas and domestic companies for value creation. He held senior management positions in   private sector companies including for business development, corporate affairs and business research.

Years of active management experience in Teaching, Research Corporate Affairs, Business Development, Consultancy & Strategic Relationship Management.

PhD. in Finance on “Industry Response to Trade Liberalization: Quantitative Analysis of Stock Market” from FMS, Delhi University

Dr Vardhan’s research revolves around Financial Econometrics, Financial Engineering, Trade Policy, Investment & Financial Risk Management.
