Deepika Chandra Verma is a Fellow of the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. She has done her B.A. (Hons) Economics and MA in Economics from Patna University, Patna. She was awarded the UGC-NET JRF scholarship in Economics in 2010 for the UGC-NET JRF exam held in Dec. 2009. Her research interests lie in Innovation Economics, Corporate Sustainability and Policy, and Social Enterprise. She has co-authored a book chapter titled “Towards a Better Understanding of Business Models of Social Enterprise in an Uncertain Institutional Environment”, In Social Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Business Models: The Case of India, Eds. Agrawal, A. & Kumar, P., Palgrave Macmillan and a case study titled “Marketing Potential Eco-Innovations Successfully: A Case Study of Banka Bioloo”, in Indian Management Cases, ET Cases Enabling Decisions.
